Taimur is a Chartered Professional Accountant and specializes in Canadian taxation. He has over 10 years of experience in public practice with national and international accounting firms. He has extensive experience dealing with private sector clients with a special focus on industries such as retail, consumer products, manufacturing, construction, and other high net worth clients. Furthermore, he understands the importance of relationships and the team approach to providing value-added services.
Since joining the firm in 2020, he has advised clients on corporate tax reorganizations and restructuring, estate and succession planning, shareholders’ distribution planning, tax compliance and provisions, and has provided consultation on variety of Canadian tax issues. He also works closely with legal counsel to ensure successful implementation and execution of tax restructuring/reorganization transactions along with the related tax compliance.
Taimur also holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration with Honours from York University and he has completed parts I, II and III of CPA Canada’s In-Depth Tax Course.
