Pramen Prasad is the managing partner at Prasad & Company LLP. He has over 30 years of experience in public accounting with concentrations in traditional accounting, audit, tax services, and business advisory services. Pramen is a proud member of the Society of Management Accountants of Ontario, the Chartered Professional Accountants of Ontario, the Canadian Tax Foundation, and the Toronto Board of Trade. From 2001 to 2005, he was a member of the Practice Inspection Committee of the Institute of Chartered Accounts of Ontario. Pramen also serves as an advisor to an advisory board whose members comprise of stakeholders and directors of privately-held companies.
Pramen has extensive experience in advisory services for privately-held companies and their stakeholders. He has helped numerous international companies establish their businesses in Canada. He has also helped Canadian companies successfully expand their businesses to the U.S. Pramen advises on complex issues such as financial modelling, strategic business planning, mergers and divestitures, transactional due diligence, and shareholder and matrimonial mediation. Pramen helps clients by providing them with solutions that make sense for the success of their business. Whether a start-up business, the development of cash management tools, presentation to lenders and investors, or arranging buy-sell agreements, his 'hands-on' management consulting abilities have assisted clients in the development and performance of their business. Pramen's ability to understand lending criteria established by Canadian Chartered Banks has resulted in the successful placement of financing for privately-held companies.
Pramen is actively involved in promoting social awareness for various charitable causes (please refer to our Community Involvement page). He is a proud member of the Toronto-area community and thrives on being an active participant of the city. In his spare time, Pramen enjoys going up north to spend quality time with his wife and children.
